EL Gazette Features MAT

August 25, 2008

In its short article on innovative master’s degrees, the English Language Gazette selected SIT’s MA in Teaching to be profiled.  Making a case for describing the 40-year-old program as innovative in a July 1, 2008, article called “Not Sitting on Their Laurels,” the article describes MAT as fresh, different, and effective.  Features of the program, as cited in the article, include the mid-program field experience and the final master’s project.  Connecting language teaching to world peace through intercultural understanding is another of the programs’ features cited.

The English Language Gazette is published monthly.  To read the article in its entirety, register at no charge.
