TESOL Conference Sessions

We thought we’d share with you the impact alumni, faculty, and staff are having at The 42nd Annual TESOL Convention & Exhibit (TESOL 2008), Worlds of TESOL: Building Communities of Practice, Inquiry, and Creativity, being held this week in New York City. Presenters affiliated with the SIT Graduate Institute and/or SIT’s Master of Arts in Teaching are leading a total of 57 different TESOL conference sessions, including:

  • How can TESOLers contribute toward World Peace?
  • Understanding Refugee Experiences through Multicultural Literature Circles
  • Environmentalism in the ESL Classroom
  • Problematizing Gender and Ethnic Stereotypes in ELT
  • Teach Language, Explore Peace
